RoA round 2 - The Fire Within

This took me so long. ;n; I hope I've pleased the Alerian gods.

I love working with flash. At first I thought I'd hate it, but there are so many possibilities. For example, in this flash alone I have three basic ways to make a "panel" (I say panel because I think of it as more of a comic than an animation). I have the beginning which is photoshop lineart colored in flash, the middle which is *coughanimationcough* done in flash and the end which is lined and colored in flash. and then there's all the flashy elements like buttons and actionscript and such. So instead of just sketching, lining, and coloring like a normal comic, there's a million different things to do and it doesn't get too monotonous or boring.

So although it takes a bit longer, I think I'll continue using flash comics as my medium, because it's fun and I think the result looks a lot cooler and bitchin.

Also, I'm sorry. I am so sorry. I didn't want to do it, but the chance for character development was too tempting. ;n; if you don't know what I'm talking about you obviously haven't read the flash yet. TTnTT *coughcoughRIPKaelcoughcough*

I feel like I may have introduced a little too much plot in this one. I think the plot may be too obvious, as well. There's what, three more rounds if I make it all the way through? I'm scared I may not have enough new plot to use for more rounds. errrrr I may have played all my cards, but I was too excited with my plot to hold back. We'll see. I think (hope) that I've introduced just enough and that I'll be able to thicken the plot in following rounds, if I get that far. We'll see in due time, I guess.

All characters (c) their owners, credits on the last frame, with links and ANIMATED icons! Yeah, I'm getting serious. You'll notice the action script in this one is much better. not that any of you will notice the difference, but there's a lot of small nifty things I added (like the fire buttons in the end and the hover-pics. you liiiike?). I used a ton of tutorials to help do stuff and I am learning SO MUCH by doing these flash comics. It's awesome!
